One of the best ways of feeling great is to speak up for yourself. If someone is mean, judgmental, sarcastic, speak up for yourself. Say, in a kind voice, "That felt awful," or "I don't want to be around you when you treat me like that," or "I know you're feeling badly, but I don't like it when you take it out on me."
