Hold the wounded child and explore what you are thinking or doing that is causing these feelings. What are you telling yourself? All thoughts that create suffering are lies to ourselves. Discover the thoughts that are creating your suffering. Pain is a part of life, but suffering is a choice that results from our untrue thoughts.
